Photograph of the interior of the Madorsky Theater   Join us for another exciting film series this fall with a line-up that promises to entice even the pickiest of movie goers with a range of cinematic favorites and cutting-edge independent features.

Film screenings are free and open to the public; donations welcome. All screenings occur in the Southeast Museum of Photography’s Madorsky Theater (Hosseini Center, building 1200 of the main Daytona State College campus). Sorry, no popcorn!
All foreign films will be subtitled in English. Domestic films can be subtitled in English for the hearing impaired upon request.

Select Wednesdays at 2:00 p.m.

With climate change, pollution, and privatization — water, our most valuable resource, has become a hot topic. This film series takes a look at water through many different perspectives to consider its beauty and life-giving nature, the animals that live in it, how we use it, and what can be done to conserve and protect it.

Select Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m.

This film series brings together films that explore the ways we shape our sense of self in those most intimate moments, when we confront ourselves as sexual, gendered, embodied people. Join Daytona State College professor Eric Breitenbach and other guest faculty for film introductions and post screening discussions. All films will be shown, when possible, with captions for the hearing impaired.
