| The early images are comprised of works from important figures from the history of photography in the Twentieth Century including Edward Weston, Jerry Uelsmann, Diane Arbus, Arthur Rothstein, Richard Avedon and Duane Michels. The early SMP acquisitions include Leah King Smith, Sally Mann, Kenro Izu and Robert Rauschenberg, among others. It is now thirty years since the Gallery of Fine Arts was established at Daytona Beach Community College. The Southeast Museum of Photography would like to acknowledge the artists and donors who have made these acquisitions possible and Dan Biferie, the founding director of the DBCC Gallery of Fine Arts.
