Family Fun Days
FAMILY PHOTO FUN DAYS!

Enjoy an afternoon of free parent-child art and photography sessions designed for children aged 6-12 and led by skilled and supportive staff members. All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, and due to limited space, pre-registration is required. Call (386) 506-4569 for more information.

Enjoy a spot of fun with the Southeast Museum of Photography!

Kids are invited to explore dot art (formally known as Pointillism) and its influence on photographers such as John Baldessari and Andy Warhol, plus multi-media artists as Yayoi Kasuma and Damien Hirst. Come take pictures, create your own spotted backgrounds, and overlay colored dots onto your photos to emphasize your “point” of view!

PLEASE NOTE:
This is a free workshop. However, due to limited space, pre-registration is required so we can ensure that we have enough materials available for all participants. Any questions can be addressed by calling the education department at 386-506-4569.



MAKING MAGIC & A NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM
(Two-Part Program) All skill levels

Create your own magic lantern (precursor to the modern slide projector) and bring images to life before your eyes! Part I of this activity is limited to the first 25 participants to register, but the screening of the film is open to the community and no reservations are required.
