The Permanent Collection
The Museum’s Permanent Collection of more than 3,500 photographs and includes work by William Klein, Sally Mann, Harry Callahan, Gordon Parks, Alfred Stieglitz, Edward Steichen, Paul Strand, Aaron Siskind and Robert Rauschenberg among others.

Our collection has grown rapidly through gifts, bequests, commissions, and successful grant programs and now covers the history of photography from the 1840s to the present day. It is particularly strong on work from our own region. The museum also holds one of the largest collections of post-revolutionary Cuban photography in the United States.
