Each series is one complete module and cannot be split into units. The second series is a development and extension of the first but may be registered for separately. We apologize for the inconvenience. __________________________________________________________________________________________ Dr. James J. Murphy is an educator and arts administrator. He has taught courses in art history, humanities and contemporary arts issues at Florida State University, where he also served as chairman of the Department of Art. He has also taught at the University of Alabama, Stetson University, Valencia Community College and Daytona Beach College. Dr. Murphy was executive director for the Society for Photographic Education, and program director of Atlantic Center for the Arts. He has worked as an independent curator and consultant to arts organizations, and is the author of reviews, articles and catalogue essays. Dr. Murphy was granted a B.A. in Art History from Saint Peters College, and holds M.A. and Ph.D. degrees from Florida State University.
